Lori Chaisson is the Founder and Executive Director for Into The Clearing, Inc. She has over 25 years of experience working with women and children giving them tools and resources to bring strength and healing to their families.
Previously, she was instrumental with the start of a non-profit corporation, setting up policy and procedures for staff, organizing and coordinating volunteers, maintaining corporate bookkeeping and budgeting and administrating the oversight of the non-profit. She acted secretary on the board of directors. She was instrumental in building a preschool and has extensive experience with staff and operational management.
Lori has lead conferences locally and internationally to strengthen and encourage women in life situations. She has trained and traveled with teams for short-term mission trips including England, Costa Rica, Albania, Thailand, Peru, Belgium and Brazil. “Her ministry gifts shine brightest in times of deepest heartache and greatest joy. Lori has a unique way of being there for people when they need it most.”
Ann Marie Russell has been an integral part of working in an office environment for over 40 years. She has held positions as an Executive Secretary, Full Charge Bookkeeper, Human Resources Administrator, and Office Manager. All of her positions have given her an uncanny sense of people and helped her develop the ability to handle a variety of situations whether it’s someone in need of help or ministry or personnel needing conflict resolution or counsel. In addition to her office abilities she has planned and executed major events from start to finish. She has worked one on one with women locally and internationally traveling to Thailand and Albania. She has taken a proactive stand for women in a variety of ways, for instance marching in Washington in support of women’s rights.
Ann Marie is committed to her beliefs and calling and steadfastly encourages others to do the same. She currently resides with her husband of 30+ years in Boynton Beach, Florida and is a proud parent of 2 married children and has three amazing grandchildren.
Rebecca "Becky" Reed has worked most of her life in fundraising endeavors. The Arenac Area Disability Center (AADC) in Standish, Michigan gave her a start in this field. She helped to raise money to build and sustain a facility for the handicapped to work and be educated.
After moving to Sarasota, Florida she was instrumental in forming two chapters of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA). She served various positions on the Board as well as serving two terms as President. She was awarded Woman of the Year and the Trail Blazer Award for her years of service. ABWA’s main focus is to award educational scholarships to women.
She served as Executive Director for the Palm Beach Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Association. There she handled financials, arranged venues for meetings, conducted Board Meetings, prepared agendas and minutes, developed and distributed monthly newsletters, coordinated and put on annual trade shows, and other various forms of fundraising. Becky has the gift of hospitality, organizing and planning and hosting events. She is an active and responsible woman who thinks outside of the box. She always looks at the positive in life.
Her career has included real estate, property management, being a business owner for 30+ years; all while devoting her time and talents to non-profit organizations, church and her family. She raised her children after being made a single Mother when her husband was killed in a car accident. In this season of her life she is a devoted grandmother and finds joy in spending time with her ten grandchildren.
Vivian Fallon is a native Floridian and has resided in Palm Beach County her entire life. She has a true desire to help others. Her passion for encouraging and serving others has been woven throughout her career and years of volunteering in church and community ministries.
Vivian began her career in retail over 30 years ago in a successful locally owned men’s specialty clothing boutique where she is still employed on a part time basis. During this time she earned her degree in marketing and learned many aspects of retail and personalized customer service. She went on to serve as a purchasing manager for a high-end home furnishing business for over 10 years.
Currently, a store manager for a local public safety uniform business, she enjoys utilizing her invaluable experience and command for retail management while specializing in the highest standards for customer service. Throughout the years her volunteer service has included teaching with The Light Club, an after-school program in the public school system and The Good News Club, a Christian program, reaching children in community housing projects. She has also worked in various women’s and children’s ministries at her local church. Today, through her love and concern for others, Vivian enjoys serving in leadership at her church and continues to encourage and mentor those around her.
Susanne Whitaker is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida with over 30 years of experience in private and public accounting. She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth and Zion Bible Institute (Rhode Island). Her office is located in Boynton Beach, where she serves the diverse accounting and tax needs of individuals, small businesses, estates, trusts and non-profit organizations.
During her many years as a volunteer, Susanne has enjoyed teaching in the Sunday School, elementary, junior high and singles ministries as well as serving as the treasurer of her church in Massachusetts and volunteering in the Nursery and Hospitality departments. She has also served and supported various local and global organizations and has been involved in foreign and inner-city missions.
Susanne and her husband, Ted, have been married for 21 years and live in Boynton with their two sons. She enjoys spending time with her family as well as knitting, crocheting, sewing and reading.
Lisa Crisafulli is an experienced and gifted teacher in Preschool & Elementary School. Teaching Kindergarten for over five years at a private Christian school has been an extraordinary and rewarding experience, and she has over a decade of experience caring for infants and toddlers, as well as teaching small children from 2-years through pre-K too. Today Lisa is a happily married mother of three grown children, although she was once a single mom herself with elementary school-age children, so she brings a realistic perspective to many of the challenges young single moms often face emotionally, occupationally, financially and spiritually. Lisa continues to teach and works part-time at Lake Worth Christian School. She also remains alongside this ministry to serve and sew hope and truth back into the lives of these young women and children. Lisa is an enthusiastic, fun-loving, compassionate and faith-filled woman of strong moral character.
Doug Crisafulli is a seasoned businessman with expertise in overall business management including marketing, operations and finance. After 30+ years working in and servicing the Hospitality industry , Doug transitioned from secular business into full-time ministry serving as part of the Stewardship team of Moody Bible Institute as a Regional Representative, serving and encouraging Moody ministry partners locally here in South Florida in biblical stewardship. Doug is happily married with a beautiful and loving wife and three wonderful adult (step) children. For over a twenty years, he has been actively involved in local church ministry, using his gifts of hospitality, organization and administration to faithfully serve the church body. Doug is a creative and energetic guy, filled with faith, love and life, with a desire to serve others, especially those in need.
Melanie Mahady is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Spanish River Counseling Center in Boca Raton, Florida. She has been working in the field of psychotherapy for over 8 years. She is a strong proponent of natural and alternative therapies being used in conjunction with traditional practices and uses an eclectic approach including EMDR (mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual healing), DBT (mental healing), CBT (mental healing and emotional), Amino Acid Therapy (Brain health, neurotransmitter balancing), Expressive Arts, and Interpersonal Therapy. She has had great success in helping clients cope with Eating Disorders, Trauma, Sexual Abuse, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress, Emotional Dependency, Chemical Dependency, Relationship Issues (couples/marital), Parent-Child Issues, Post-partum Depression/OCD, and traumatic birth experiences. Melanie believes in the mission and purpose of Into the Clearing and is devoted to contributing in God’s plan for each individual brought forth to receive healing through this ministry.
Greg Russell has enjoyed a career in the turf and ornamental care business for more than 35 years. He is a licensed pest control operator and certified in Best Management Practices for the Landscape in the state of Florida. Greg has also taken courses in plant pathology, palm tree care, turf and ornamental pest control as well as structural pest control. He is currently employed as a field supervisor for a pest control company located in Delray Beach. Greg is very much at home and at peace working outside around the house.
Greg has always been very involved in his church, having served on a short-term missions team in Peru as well as active involvement in church leadership for a decade. Greg was ordained a pastor in 2009, with responsibilities as an associate pastor including marriage ministry, hospitality, and deacon oversight. He also served on the church board from 2010-2012. He has a passion to help men realize their full potential spiritually. He has two married children and three beautiful grandchildren. Greg resides in Boynton Beach with his wonderful wife of 30+ years.
